Katrina Boschenko Interiors is a boutique interior design studio headquartered in Lisbon, Portugal, creating calm, soulful spaces that balance natural textures, global craftsmanship, and understated elegance. Led by Katrina Boschenko, the studio delivers bespoke one-of-a-kind pieces by local ceramic and fiber artists.
Architectural project signed by Federico Valsassina, in a Portuguese style with pine floors and white walls. Maison Amarande decided to add touches of terracotta colour, respecting the architect’s style and specificly with a terracotta wall installation.
The collection “Vessels or the reclamation of the useless” is a series of anthropomorphic pieces produced between 2018 and 2019, initially inspired by the morphology of amphorae and their typological features, such as the lip, neck, body, or foot.
“Vessels or the reclamation of the useless” is a theater of silent, geometric forms cohabiting on a horizontal background. They draw a landscape of expectation. They bear certain stigmas of fabrication, construction, and repetition. Within their form, they enclose a function that is being forgotten.
