Katrina Boschenko Interiors is a boutique interior design studio headquartered in Lisbon, Portugal, creating calm, soulful spaces that balance natural textures, global craftsmanship, and understated elegance. Led by Katrina Boschenko, the studio delivers bespoke one-of-a-kind pieces by local ceramic and fiber artists.
Architectural project signed by Federico Valsassina, in a Portuguese style with pine floors and white walls. Maison Amarande decided to add touches of terracotta colour, respecting the architect’s style and specificly with a terracotta wall installation.
The collection « Vessels or the reclamation of the useless » is a series of anthropomorphic pieces produced between 2018 and 2019, initially inspired by the morphology of amphorae and their typological features, such as the lip, neck, body, or foot.
« Vessels or the reclamation of the useless » is a theater of silent, geometric forms cohabiting on a horizontal background. They draw a landscape of expectation. They bear certain stigmas of fabrication, construction, and repetition. Within their form, they enclose a function that is being forgotten.
